Lead Substation Designer - Remote

This role will impact the design and implementation of high-voltage substations, working closely with engineers to create comprehensive design packages. With minimal guidance, you will produce detailed 3D models and technical drawings that will guide project execution. Your expertise in design software will be critical in interpreting complex vendor information and ensuring the accuracy of physical designs. Accountabilities Work as part of a project team to prepare high- and extra-high voltage substation design packages. Produce 3D models and associated drawings including General Arrangement, Electrical Equipment Plans, and more. Interpret and incorporate vendor information into design deliverables. Conduct walkdowns at client substation facilities. Requirements Associate's Degree in Drafting or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in 3D substation modeling and physical design. Proficient in AutoCAD, Inventor, P4A, Vault Pro, and SDS software.
