Position Overview
We are seeking a technically skilled and communicative Applications Engineer to join our team. This role involves supporting and promoting clients products and services, engaging directly with customers and partners, and collaborating across internal teams to identify and develop new opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with RF/Microwave focus
BSEE with a minimum of 2 years' experience in an RF Engineering-related technical position
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with RF/Microwave focus
Additional Requirements
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong interest and aptitude for marketing/sales-related application work
U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support and promotion of clients products and services
Communicate with external customers, partners, and sales representatives
Collaborate with engineering, sales, and management teams to develop new opportunities
Participate in customer visits, trade shows, webinars, and web meetings
Assist with training, troubleshooting, and RFQ preparation
Develop application notes, design examples, technical papers, and video tutorials
Support software product testing and installer management
Technical Skills
Proficiency with RF/Microwave simulation tools (e.g., Keysight ADS, NI AWRDE, HFSS, Sonnet Suites, Cadence)
Strong understanding of clients products and ability to provide software demos and technical support
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience with Camtasia for audio/video recording and editing
