RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct regular audits and inspections of the fulfillment and shipping processes to ensure compliance with established procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to order accuracy, shipment integrity, and delivery times.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies, errors, or issues identified during audits or reported by customers.
Develop and implement corrective action plans to address any deficiencies or areas for improvement.
Collaborate with the fulfillment and shipping teams to provide feedback and recommendations for process enhancements.
Maintain comprehensive records and generate detailed reports on audit findings, performance metrics, and corrective actions taken.
Conduct training sessions for staff on proper procedures, quality standards, and best practices.
Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, guidelines, and emerging best practices related to fulfillment and shipping operations.
Coordinate with external auditors or regulatory bodies, as required, to facilitate audits or inspections.
Continuously seek opportunities to streamline audit processes and enhance the overall quality and efficiency of operations.
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Associates Degree with supply chain management or logistics, desired
3 years of experience in auditing, quality control, or compliance roles within a distribution or logistics environment
Thorough understanding of industry regulations, standards, and best practices
Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and documentation
Strong attention to detail and observational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Familiarity with quality management systems and auditing methodologies
Working knowledge of inventory management and shipping processes
Ability to develop and implement corrective action plans
Training and facilitation skills
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work involves conducting audits and inspections in various areas of the distribution center, including warehouses, and loading docks.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed
Frequent standing, walking, and some light lifting may be required
Exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental conditions typical of a distribution facility
