Production Manager

OverviewGrowing Consumer Products Manufacturer in Fall River, MA has a need for a Production Manager. This is a direct hire opening with a full benefits package.ResponsibilitiesLiaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirementsEnsure all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-freeOrganize workflow to meet specifications and deadlinesEnsure output meets quality standards including product specificationsEnsure output meets product quality, safety and industry standards for sanitationSupervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.)Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.) needed to achieve goals and targetsWork with Facilities Manager to coordinate maintenance work, purchasing of equipment, supplies, etc.Motivate, support and provide guidance to production staffEvaluate machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtimeEstablish a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operationsSet productivity goals for each manufacturing teamDevelop workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or qualityKey Job RequirementsDeep knowledge of production managementUnderstanding of quality standards and health & safety regulationsKnowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting conceptsExperience in reporting on key production metricsProficient in MS Office and ERP softwareOutstanding communication abilityExcellent organizational and leaderships skillsEducation/ExperienceBS/BA in business administration or relevant field is preferredExperience with ISO22716, ISO9001, GMP or related standard a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
