Facilities Manager

Iskalo Development Corp. is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the operational performance, maintenance, and continuous improvement of properties within our growing real estate portfolio.This is a hands-on, high-impact role responsible for keeping our buildings safe, efficient, and well-maintained—while delivering a strong experience for tenants and supporting long-term asset value.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving problems in real time, and can balance day-to-day operations with larger capital projects, this role offers meaningful ownership and visibility across our portfolio.What You'll DoFacilities Operations & MaintenanceOversee day-to-day maintenance and physical operations across assigned propertiesEnsure HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and access control systems are operating efficientlyRespond to property issues and coordinate emergency repairs as neededPartner with Property Management to address tenant needs and service requestsVendor & Contract ManagementDevelop scopes of work, solicit bids, and manage vendor selectionNegotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and service qualityMonitor vendor performance and proactively address service gapsReview and approve invoices for accuracy and completionProject ManagementLead maintenance initiatives and capital improvement projects from start to finishDevelop budgets, timelines, and project plans—and keep them on trackOversee vendors and on-site work to ensure quality and safetySupport long-term capital planning and asset improvement strategiesCompliance, Safety & Risk ManagementSupport safety programs and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulationsCoordinate inspections and maintain compliance standardsAssist with incident response and documentationOversee fleet and equipment maintenanceSystems & ReportingMaintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and vendor activityUtilize platforms such as Corrigo and Procore to manage work orders and projectsLeverage data and reporting tools to improve operations and decision-makingWhat We're Looking For7+ years of experience in facilities, property management, or a related fieldExperience managing vendors, budgets, and facilities-related projectsStrong communication skills and ability to work across teamsHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesCore Strengths for SuccessHands-on operational leadershipStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to build effective relationships with tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholdersAttention to detail with strong executionTechnical SkillsWorking knowledge of commercial building systems and maintenance practicesExperience with property management platforms (Corrigo, Procore preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelWork Environment & RequirementsValid driver's license; travel between properties requiredAbility to work in both office and field environmentsComfortable working outdoors and in active maintenance/construction settingsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
