Job DescriptionDepartment: District AttorneySub-Department: AdministrationPay Grade: 104FLSA Status: Non-ExemptEmployment Status: Full-timeReports to: Administrative Supervisor & First Assistant District AttorneySupervises: N/AJob SummaryPromote the daily functions of the District Attorney’s mission to ensure that justice is done in a fair, effective, and efficient manner.Essential Job FunctionsInterfaces with the public to include, but not limited to, crime victims, witnesses, law enforcement officers, defendants, defense attorneys, court personnel, and other administrative and professional staff throughout the County.Collects, processes, and maintains all criminal cases in preparation for the successful prosecution of criminal defendants. This includes, creating the DA files and criminal information, gathering and copying discovery, compiling criminal histories, preparing sentencing guidelines, issuing subpoenas, and coordinating witnesses for trial.
