This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, safety, and technical skill directly impact job quality and operational success.You’ll be working alongside experienced technicians and leaders, gaining exposure to real-world equipment and systems used across marine, industrial, and power generation environments.About The RoleThe Engine Technician is responsible for supporting maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities on engines and mechanical systems.This role requires strong technical fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established procedures while maintaining safety and quality standards.You’ll work both independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently, identify issues, and ensure equipment is functioning properly before returning to service.Key Responsibilities Perform basic maintenance, inspection, and repair on engines and mechanical systems Use tools and diagnostic equipment to identify issues and support troubleshooting Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment Assist senior technicians with more complex repairs and overhauls Document work performed and report findings accurately Complete tasks within established timelines and quality expectationsRequired Qualifications Basic mechanical or technical experience working with tools or equipment Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues or faults Understanding of safety procedures and proper equipment use Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks efficiently Comfortable working in a hands-on, workshop or field environmentDesired Skills Mechanical aptitude with engines, diesel systems, or industrial equipment Problem-solving mindset when troubleshooting issues Ability to suggest process improvements or efficiency gainsWhy Join MSHS Pacific Power GroupThis is a strong opportunity to build hands-on experience in a technical field that directly supports critical industries.You’ll be part of a team that values safety, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.
