Setup Technician

POSITION SUMMARYPosition will be responsible for setting up and preparing production machinery for filling involving various container sizes and fluid chemistry. This role ensures machines are correctly configured and tested for proper operation, support changeovers and teardowns, perform basic troubleshooting to maintain production efficiency and product quality.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESSPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare, adjust and calibrate filling machines according to production specifications and work orders.Install and adjust filling nozzles, conveyor belts, pump systems and capping machines as neededEnsure proper alignment of containers, fill accuracy, torque setting and safety systems.Perform product flush between production runs to prevent cross-contamination and ensure line cleanliness, following company and regulatory standardsConduct dry runs and sample testing to verify correct setup before full productionSupport and perform rapid and efficient product or container changeoversMonitor initial ramp up of operation of equipment during production runs to confirm stable performanceMaintain clean and organized setup work areasLog setup data, complete checklist, and report issues to maintenance or supervisorSupport minor preventative maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.Work Instructions to be Trained Annually:PLW-OP21PLW-OP22PLW-OP23PLW-OP24PLW-OP25PLW-OP26PLW-OP27PL-OP02QUALIFICATIONSDIVISION:U.S. Lubricants U.S. Venture requires that a team member have and maintain authorization to work in the country in which the role is based.
