System Administrator
OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on, proactive Systems Administrator to support day-to-day infrastructure operations across systems, networking, and end-user environments. This role is responsible for maintaining the reliability, security, and performance of core IT systems while providing responsive support to end users.This opportunity is ideal for an early-career IT professional looking to expand beyond helpdesk responsibilities into systems administration and infrastructure support within a structured, fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesSystems AdministrationAdminister Windows Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 environmentsMaintain and monitor servers and virtual machines for performance and reliabilityExecute system patching, updates, and configuration changesSupport backup processes and system recoverability effortsMonitor system health and escalate complex infrastructure issues as neededHelpdesk & End-User SupportManage ticket intake, prioritization, and issue resolutionProvide support for hardware, software, and access-related issuesHandle onboarding/offboarding, account setup, and device provisioningMaintain communication and ownership throughout issue resolutionEscalate advanced technical issues when necessaryNetwork SupportSupport network connectivity including DHCP, DNS, VLANs, VPNs, and wireless infrastructureTroubleshoot network issues across multiple locationsImplement approved changes on switches, firewalls, and network devicesPerform routine security checks and updatesMonitor network performance and proactively identify risks/issuesDocumentation & ComplianceMaintain documentation for systems, procedures, and configurationsTrack IT inventory, assets, and licensing recordsAssist with compliance and audit-readiness documentationFollow established credential handling and access control proceduresQualifications2–4 years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure support, or network supportExperience in a hands-on IT support environmentFamiliarity with:Active DirectoryAzure ADMicrosoft 365VLANs, VPNs, DHCP, DNS, switches, and firewallsServer virtualization and backupsStrong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networkingAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferredValid driver’s license requiredAdditional DetailsStrong opportunity for growth into broader infrastructure responsibilitiesFast-paced environment supporting multiple locationsIdeal for candidates looking to grow beyond traditional helpdesk workMust be comfortable in an onsite environment with occasional travel
