Account Coordinator
The Position: Foxglove Communications is seeking an earnest and hardworking Account Coordinator to join our team. In this position, you’ll work closely alongside Account Executives, Account Supervisors, Account Directors, and Vice Presidents on a rapidly growing list of acclaimed hospitality clients that span hotels, bars, restaurants, spirits brands, and culinary events across the country. The ideal hire excels at consistently providing thoughtful communication in a fast-paced, autonomous environment. Foxglove was founded by Gia Vecchio, a strategist and storyteller with over a decade of experience across hospitality, travel, beverage, and fashion brands that range from savvy startups to global, household names.What We Do: Brand Positioning • Marketing Strategy • Media Relations • Media Training • Activation • Content Creation • Social Strategy • Partnerships • Hospitality Consultinghttps://www.foxglovecommunications.comTitle: Account Coordinator Responsibilities:Draft press kit materials, client bios, website copy, interview talking points, and curated pitches for reviewDraft and organize call agendas, notes, account reports, and press clipsIndustry research of local media, relevant lifestyle + food magazines, online outlets and influencersClosely monitor the news for client press as well as broader news and trendsDevelop and maintain media listsAssist with drafting and distributing pitches Establish trusted partnerships with peers, clients, and media; create channels of communication to keep them informed and support the success of accounts and campaignsCoordinate product shipments/mailersDraft lists, invitations and run-of-shows for events; support event logisticsAssist with general daily office and administrative dutiesContent creation for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) Requirements:PR experience: 1-2 years PR agency experience or internship experience in a directly related field is a mustExperience with relevant industry software: Google Suite (Drive, Sheets, Docs, Slides), MuckRack, Asana, CoverageBook etc.General understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn (past social experience is a plus)Passion for hospitality and travelSense of urgency, ownership, and drive to get things doneExceptional attention to detailAbility to communicate ideas effectively, both verbally and in writingAbility to adapt and work on multiple projectsStrong time management skillsEnergetic, self-directed, and self-motivatedCommitted to developing and maintaining beneficial media and agency relationshipsAbility to occasionally work night/weekend hoursWillingness to visit clients and travel for company obligations
