Public Relations Account Executive

Public Relations Account Executive - REMOTEMcGraw PR, a New York-based, results-oriented boutique communications firm specializing in design and architecture, is seeking an Account Executive to join our growing - and fully remote - team. This role is for a New York City–area candidate who is detail-oriented, energetic, and self-motivated, with 2–3 years of media relations experience, strong writing skills, and a genuine interest in the home and design category. This is an exciting opportunity to join a creative, collaborative, fast-paced team and work with an A-list roster of clients.Responsibilities Include:Support senior team members on multiple accounts Join client and team meetings - assist with preparing agendas, taking notes, and sharing clear recaps with next stepsKeep internal docs up to date (status reports, trackers, media lists, editorial calendars, and other shared resources)Track and organize press coverageResearch media outlets and new opportunities to pitch clients' workCreate and disseminate creative pitches and other written materialsDevelop relationships with key media, designers, and industry contactsStaying informed on industry events, networking opportunities, award programs, and trends in both the design and publishing industries Assist in the research and creation of new business proposalsAssist in the creation of social media content, as neededIn-person meeting and event support as neededQualifications Include:2-3 years of solid public relations experienceExcellent written and verbal skillsStrong attention to detail The ability to take initiative, be a self-starter, and pursue opportunities with a minimum of direction. These are especially essential skills due to the fact that the position is, for the time being, remote.
