JCW is recruiting a patent counsel on behalf of an exciting drug discovery company in the NYC area. This role involves guiding IP strategy, managing the patent portfolio, and overseeing outside counsel.Responsibilities:Developing and implementing a patent strategy.Collaborating with the scientific team to identify patenting opportunities.Managing outside counsel on patent preparation and prosecution.Qualifications:J.D. and USPTO Registration.Ph.D. (Master's degree will also be considered) in organic chemistry is ideal.
