I have TWO separate OBGYN locum tenens opportunities in California. One position is a Laborist opportunity in the Central Valley, and the other is a full-scope position in the East Bay Area near San Francisco. Position Details OBGYN Laborist Locum Tenens:Location: Central Valley, CADuration: March 10 May 10 (likely to extend)Schedule: 2-10 shifts per month (unable to do block coverage/consecutive shifts)Shift: Monday Sunday, 7a-7aCall: In-housePatient volume: 4,500 annual deliveries split between 3 groups and OB HospitalistScope: Unassigned patients and back-up for the groupsEMR: CernerHospital: 600+ beds, Level III TraumaSupport: 24/7 in-house anesthesia coverage (MDA/CRNA), OB laborist groupsRequirements: Board certified or board eligible, Active California licenseCredentialing: 30 days, temporary privileges can be grantedPosition Details OBGYN Full-Scope Locum Tenens:Location: Bay Area, CADuration: May 9, 2025 July 18, 2025Schedule: Full-timeShift: Monday Friday, 8a-5p plus 24-hour pager callCall: Rotating 1:4 for the group, 7a-7a 24-hour pager call Patient volume: 15-18 per day in clinicScope of clinic: Pre/post-natal care, womens health, outpatient gyn proceduresEMR: Epic (experience required)Hospital: 167 beds, no trauma designationGroup/support: Full subspecialty support, 3 other OBGYNs in the group for call coverage, 24/7 anesthesia coverage, back-up OBGYN for emergenciesRequirements: Board Certified, California License and DEA, Clean NPDBCredentialing: estimated 30 days for clinic, 60-90 days for hospital/inpatientOther locations:Louisiana, Tennessee, Oregon, Oklahoma, Georgia, and more!Please call or email me if you are interested in learning more about any of our locum tenens opportunities.
