GARNEY CONSTRUCTIONA Marketing Specialist is available at Garney. The Marketing Specialist will support the Profit Centers in obtaining value based and collaborative delivery work-overall supporting Garney in work acquisition efforts. This will include supporting the Marketing and Business Development teams and performing administrative tasks as needed.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGLead development of qualifications and proposalsSupport the development of capture planning, presentations, or client debriefingsPrepare and distribute marketing materials for potential clientsSupport the Marketing Team with administrative dutiesSupport Operations and Business Development with national trade organization events, initiatives, and administrative dutiesWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORBachelor's Degree in marketing, strategic communications, journalism, or a similar degree.Minimum of five years of experience in marketing professional services in the A/E/C industry.Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Exceptional communication skills.Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.Ambitious, creative, and a team player.Excellent judgment, and work accurately and efficiently with minimal guidance.Strong writing and editing skills.Active listener with a strong work ethic.Meet deadlines and have an acute attention to detail.Some weekend and evening work may be required prior to critical deadlines.
