As we scale to supporting an expanding enterprise customer base, we need operational excellence and automation to prevent Legal from becoming a bottleneck while maintaining appropriate risk oversight. This Legal Operations Manager role is critical to building the infrastructure, workflows, and self-service tools that will allow our small Legal team to scale effectively and empower business teams to move quickly within well-defined guardrails.What You'll DoContract Management & AdministrationManage contract workflows for standard commercial agreements, including customer agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, and DPAsConduct initial contract reviews and identify issues requiring attorney escalationCoordinate contract redlines and negotiations with business stakeholders and legal counselTrack contract status, deadlines, and key obligations throughout the contract lifecycleHandle NDA intake, routing, and execution processMaintain contract repository and ensure accurate documentation of all agreementsSupport enterprise sales cycles by managing contract logistics and business terms within approved parametersLegal Operations & Process ManagementDesign and implement legal workflows and playbooks that enable self-service and reduce bottlenecksOperationalize contract lifecycle management systems and automation toolsBuild and maintain contract templates, clause libraries, and legal resources for business teamsDevelop intake and triage systems to efficiently route legal requestsTrack legal metrics and KPIs to identify process improvement opportunitiesKnowledge ManagementMaintain organized repository of executed contracts, legal documents, and compliance materialsDocument legal processes, workflows, and institutional knowledgeGenerate regular reports on contract pipeline, cycle times, and process metricsCreate and update internal wikis, knowledge bases, and training materials for business usersWhat You'll BringRequired Qualifications4-6 years of contract management, legal operations, or related experience in a technology or SaaS environmentStrong understanding of commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, and standard business termsDemonstrated ability to implement process improvements and automation solutionsExperience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools or legal workflow platformsExcellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailSuperior written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly to non-legal audiencesCollaborative approach and comfort working cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levelsProactive, resourceful mindset with ability to work independently and exercise sound judgmentPreferred QualificationsContract management experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS or enterprise software companyFamiliarity with legal project management methodologies and toolsExperience implementing or administering CLM platformsKnowledge of data privacy concepts (GDPR, CCPA) as they relate to commercial contractsUnderstanding of enterprise software licensing and SaaS commercial modelsExperience building playbooks, templates, and self-service toolsBackground in sales operations, revenue operations, or deal desk functionsCompensation, It's What We Do.At Pave, we believe compensation should be as thoughtful as the people we hire.
