Job Description:Position: Campus Recreation - Promotions/Social Media Revision Date: 01/08/2026Reports to: Assistant Director of Athletics - Internal OperationsDepartment: AthleticsSalary Grade: Maryland Minimum WageFSLA Status: Non-exemptLocation of Position: Gill Center, McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, MD 21157Duration of Appointment: 08/06/2025 to 05/26/2026 Schedule: Schedule is at discretion of supervisor Evaluation Procedures: Student workers are evaluated on a continuous basis.Scope: Help Create Content, social media posts and promote events for Campus Recreation.Responsibilities:Report to work promptly for all scheduled work shifts. Provide professionalism and promptly post regularly across social media platforms Create upcoming events/ flyers via Box Out and or Canva softwareAttend Campus rec events and take photos (Events, intramurals, etc.)Report any problems to supervisor. Other duties as assigned. Requirements:Current undergraduate student at McDaniel College with Federal Work StudyAbility to provide exceptional customer service. Must be reliable, prompt, and self-motivated. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to move the equipment within the gym. Ability to access non-handicap assessable areas of the gym. Ability to work well with others and to share work responsibilities.
