Director of Catering & Events
We are seeking an experienced Director of Catering & Events to lead all private events, weddings, and signature member functions at our private country club-Indian Hills Country Club located in Marietta, GA. This role is responsible for overseeing events from initial inquiry through execution, managing catering staff, collaborating with culinary and service leadership, and ensuring exceptional experiences for our members and guests.The ideal candidate is a polished hospitality professional with strong event management experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating memorable experiences in a member-focused environment.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for private events and weddingsPlan, coordinate, and execute member and private events, including holidays and themed functionsCreate and manage Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and event calendarsCollaborate closely with the Executive Chef, Director of Food & Beverage, and Service ManagersLead, coach, and develop catering staff, including the Assistant Director of CateringCoordinate vendors, room setups, billing, and post-event follow-upParticipate in budgeting, forecasting, and department head meetingsSupport marketing efforts related to event promotionQualificationsBackground in catering, events, or hospitality managementWedding and upscale event experience preferredStrong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of food, beverage, wine, and service standardsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysWhy Join Us?At Indian Hills, we pride ourselves on fostering a welcoming, member-first environment.
