In this role, you will oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, including repairs, preventative maintenance, renovations, and capital improvement projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who is passionate about operational excellence and team development.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, supervise, and support a team of maintenance technicians, custodians, and groundskeepersOversee housekeeping dept and maintain and repair of facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipmentDevelop and manage maintenance schedules, preventative maintenance programs, and departmental budgetsConduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and opportunities for improvementEnsure all maintenance activities are completed efficiently with minimal disruption to residents and daily operationsCoordinate and supervise work performed by outside contractors and service vendorsMaintain compliance with all applicable safety regulations, building codes, and industry standardsStay informed on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in facility maintenance and managementFlexible in working any given shift especially on the weekendQualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or facilities managementProven leadership experience with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a maintenance teamStrong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systemsExcellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to lift, bend, and move equipment or materials weighing up to 50 poundsValid driver's license and reliable transportation requiredWhy Join Aventura at Pembrooke?This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive and professional environment.
