Our expertise spans analytics, strategy, technical services, content security, and management consulting.Role OverviewWe are seeking a Principal to join our Management Consulting team! In this role, you will drive new business while also delivering high-impact consulting engagements in the telecommunications sector. This is a hybrid sales + delivery role, ideal for someone who thrives on building client relationships, closing deals, and leading complex engagements end-to-end. You will be a key member of Cartesian's leadership team, responsible for shaping strategy, delivering value, and driving revenue growth through new and existing accounts.Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseKey ResponsibilitiesLead business development efforts: identify, pursue, and close new consulting engagements with telecommunications clients (target: $1-2M annually)Develop and manage relationships with C-level and VP-level client stakeholdersShape proposals, SOWs, and go-to-market strategies in collaboration with Cartesian leadershipDevelop thought leadership to position Cartesian as a partner of choice for new and existing clientsLead project delivery: ensure high-quality outcomes, value-based delivery, and high client satisfactionGuide program governance, stakeholder engagement, and financial oversight for active engagementsServe as a trusted advisor to telecommunications clients, offering insights on industry trends and transformation strategiesGuide and mentor consulting teams, fostering a culture of excellence and collaborationRequired Qualifications 10+ years of management consulting experience, including 5+ years in the telecommunications sectorProven ability to generate and grow revenue (ideally with targets of $1-$2Mannually) with consulting clientsExperience leading large-scale initiatives involving 5G, fiber deployment, OSS/BSS, network transformation, customer experience, or digital enablement in the telecommunication industryDemonstrated ability to both sell and deliver strategic consulting engagementsExperience navigating enterprise sales cycles and working within telecommunications client procurement modelsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsMotivated by revenue goals and delivery ownershipAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications MBA or advanced degreeExperience with telecom-specific technologies (e.g., OSS/BSS, 5G, AI/ML, cloud platforms)Familiarity with 5G, fiber deployment, or telecom regulatory frameworksExperience with margin-based compensation modelsPrior experience at a Big Four or boutique consulting firm.Employment TypeFull-time | Remote | Location Flexible (must be US-based)(This role will require travel as needed for key client meetings, tradeshows, etc.)What We Offer Strategic focus on the TMT sector and a reputation for solving the industry's toughest challengesCollaborative, entrepreneurial, team-base environment where your ideas and impact matterUncapped commission structure tied to personal sales targets and margin contribution
