This role requires a seasoned professional who can drive operational transformation across diverse industries while developing innovative solutions to complex supply chain challenges. The ideal candidate will combine deep functional expertise with exceptional client management skills and a proven track record of delivering measurable results.Beyond client delivery, this is a leadership position with responsibility for practice development, team building, and driving go-to-market efforts.Client Delivery & Transformation LeadershipServe as the primary engagement lead for complex Supply Chain & Operations transformation programs, overseeing multi-functional teams across finance, IT, and operationsLead end-to-end project delivery for large-scale supply chain transformation and operational excellence initiatives, managing project P&L responsibility and ensuring profitable delivery within scope and timelineDeliver findings and recommendations to executive leadership which drive measurable improvements in cycle time, accuracy, resource allocation, and stakeholder experienceSupply Chain and Operations Function ExpertiseExtensive subject matter expertise in comprehensive supply chain strategies including network optimization, inventory management, demand planning, strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and risk mitigationProven-track record of advising clients on digital supply chain transformations incorporating AI, IoT, advanced analytics, and automation technologiesExpertise conducting end-to-end supply chain assessments covering procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, and distributionDeep understanding of key supply chain and operations applications (e.g., Anaplan, Coupa, Kinaxis, o9, etc.) to inform system design and automation integrationComprehensive knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and ERP platformsAdvanced proficiency in data analysis tools including SQL, Python/R, Tableau, Power BIPractice Leadership & InnovationLead continued buildout of Embark's offering, defining services around supply chain and operations strategy, transformation enablement, and delivery architectureDevelop proprietary methodologies and intellectual property for the firm's supply chain practice —including opportunity assessment tools, white papers, industry research, strategy development, delivery playbooks, and ROI modelsStay current on supply chain trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to ensure our offerings remain cutting-edge and outcome-focusedBusiness Development & Market GrowthSupport proposal development, solution scoping, and client presentations for supply chain and operations-focused initiativesDevelop and maintain strong client relationships to identify new opportunities and support ongoing transformation journeysLeverage your personal and professional network to generate leads and drive new business aligned to our operations transformation practiceRepresent the firm in the marketplace through participation in conferences, webinars, and thought leadership initiativesPeople operations strategy, and supply chain technologies to build team capability.To be a good fit for this role you will have:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Accounting, MIS, or related field10+ years of progressive experience in management consulting (Big 4 or similar) or a transformation role within a supply chain and operations organizationDemonstrated experience leading end-to-end project delivery for large-scale supply chain transformation and operational excellence initiatives or business process optimizationWorking knowledge of automation tools and frameworks (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, Alteryx) and how to apply them within supply chain and operations functionsProven ability to advise and influence executive stakeholders including COOs, CPOs, CIOs, and other senior supply chain and operations executivesAdded bonus if you have:MBA, or Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or related fieldProfessional certifications (APICS SCOR, CPSM, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, or equivalent)Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, PMO best practices, and transformation enablementExperience supporting PE-backed or high-growth clients through supply chain and operations maturity assessments and transformation
