Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description This person will help design an assembly line by calculating demand at capacity, building Excel files to compute the number of stations needed, reviewing OMS/work content to potentially combine work stations, manipulating and creating new AutoCAD details to build the line, ensuring proper ergonomics and work cell spacing, considering new utilities/tooling/equipment needed to support production, and creating capex plans.Requirements BS in Engineering.Experience with assembly line design, using Demand Flow Technology (DFT) preferred (basically using data to balance lines and determine number of stations and sequence of events, etc.)Other assembly line design methodology will be considered in lieu of DFT -- ultimately, the person needs to have experience with line balancing and takt time, etc.; this is critical and will be asked about in the interview.Mobile equipment background. Automotive or heavy equipment industry background preferred; not interested in pure aerospace folks.Strong knowledge of Lean principles.Familiarity with PLC, automation, machining, welding, assembly techniques, time studies, and torque tooling.AutoCAD and Excel skills.Some budgetary experience for capex creation, and project planning experience for the line design implementation.Core Tree experience for determining Build IDs.About the companyKatalyst CRO#J-18808-Ljbffr
