The Maintenance Supervisor ensures safe, reliable operations while meeting departmental goals related to cost, quality, projects, and equipment uptime.Job ResponsibilitiesLead, direct, and support maintenance technicians to meet safety, quality, and cost standardsSchedule, assign, and prioritize work orders to support plant operationsMonitor staffing levels and adjust resources to ensure efficient coverageInspect work in progress and completed jobs to ensure workmanship and safety standards are metDevelop and implement training plans to strengthen technician skill setsCoordinate closely with production to improve communication and minimize downtimeRecommend and plan equipment upgrades to improve efficiency and reduce costsCoach and develop team members using performance management toolsMaintain maintenance materials, spare parts, and inventory levelsPromote plant safety initiatives and ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, quality, and sanitation standardsSupport continuous improvement and foster teamwork aligned with plant valuesQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required5+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environmentPrior maintenance leadership or supervisory experience preferredStrong working knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, motor controls, and building maintenanceExperience troubleshooting processing and packaging equipment and electronic control systemsFamiliarity with Allen-Bradley controls preferredSAP experience is a plusAbility to analyze equipment issues, identify root causes, and manage projectsStrong communication, organizational, and prioritization skillsAbility to read, write, and speak English
