The ideal candidate will have experience driving dump trucks, pulling heavy equipment on trailers, and operating 4-axle vehicles. You will ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Operate Dump Trucks:** Safely and efficiently drive dump trucks to transport construction materials to job sites. - **Transport Heavy Equipment:** Pull and transport heavy equipment and machinery using appropriate trailers, ensuring secure loading and unloading. - **Drive 4-Axle Vehicles:** Operate 4-axle vehicles for various hauling and transportation tasks. - **Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections:** Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles before and after trips to ensure they are in safe and proper working condition. - **Compliance:** Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, including CDL requirements and transportation laws. - **Documentation:** Complete and maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation. - **Communication:** Communicate effectively with dispatchers, construction managers, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues. - **Safety:** Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safe transport of materials and equipment, and report any hazards or incidents. **Qualifications:** - **Valid CDL License:** Must possess a current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements. - **Experience:** Proven experience driving dump trucks, operating 4-axle vehicles, and transporting heavy equipment on trailers. - **Clean Driving Record:** Maintain a clean driving record with no major violations. - **Physical Fitness:** Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including loading and unloading materials and equipment. - **Safety-Oriented:** Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices related to vehicle operation and transportation of heavy equipment. - **Communication Skills:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders. - **Dependability:** Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and commitment to job responsibilities. **Preferred Qualifications:** - **Construction Industry Experience:** Previous experience in the construction industry or similar field. - **Mechanical Skills:** Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. **What We Offer:** - **Competitive Salary:** Attractive compensation based on experience and qualifications. - **Career Growth:** Opportunities for professional development and career advancement within the company.
