Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting goods across various routes. This role involves operating different types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, tankers, and flatbeds, ensuring timely delivery of freight while adhering to all regulations and company policies. Duties Safely operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and deliveries. Navigate routes effectively, utilizing GPS and maps as necessary. Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling of materials. Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience as a delivery driver or in truck driving is preferred. Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, tankers, flatbeds, or roll-off trucks is a plus. Strong understanding of route driving and freight handling procedures. Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and customers.
