JOB SUMMARY
The Experimental Material Controller (PPG – Priority Parts Group) coordinates activities related to parts movements and part shortages, creates reports, trains employees, communicates and reconciles issues within Experimental Scheduling & Logistics (ES&L).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Trains new personnel in Priority Parts Group area
Applies job schedule priority to critical orders throughout Experimental Operations
Keeps records of all Priority parts in WIP and ensure they meet need dates successfully
Transports parts from area to area
Has a complete understanding of shop work orders
Has complete understanding of SAP work centers
Aircraft manufacturing knowledge and blueprint reading
Maintains clean and safe work environment
Assists other employees in completing complex work assignments
Interfaces daily with scheduling engineering, planning, supply chain, and shop leads
Assists coordinative activities on experimental parts through CMF and PLANT1
Performs other related duties as required
Working knowledge in SAP, EEDS, and Enovia
EDUCATION
Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 6 months scheduling, shipping, receiving, or stockroom
Experience with SAP and Excel is preferred
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to act with a strong sense of urgency and take ownership of all required tasks
Ability to deal with change and multi-task in a very dynamic environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
Professional demeanor and organizational skills
Must have positive attitude and outstanding integrity
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
