Position 1: Avionics Software testing Engineer
Skills required:
· Must have the ability to attain a US Govt Secret Security Clearance.
· Experience software testers in high-level and low-level testing.
· Knowledge of DOORS, Dimensions, VectorCAST, C# and C++, automated test script generation, Cameo is a plus.
· Understanding of DO-160C validation and verification process. Knowledge of ARP4754A.
· At least 2 years of experience with the embedded hardware and software integration of Avionics and Mission Systems testing in a SIL environment.
Responsibilities include:
· Understand certification of airborne system/software processes (DO-178C, DO-297, DO-326, DO-254, and ARP 4754A).
· Scripting experience using C#, Video Studio Code or Python for building automated test procedures and gathering test results.
· VectorCast experience at conducting unit and integration testing.
· Knowledge of communication standards such as ARINC 429, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, MIL-1553 and Networking (TCP/IP, TSN, DDS).
· Experience with Git (IBM Rational DOORS and Micro Focus Dimensions) HLR and LLR version control system, managing tasks within an Agile work environment and familiar with Cameo for MBSE requirements management.
What You Need to Be Successful:
· Bachelor’s degree with a Major in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering. Significant test experience may be considered.
