Virtual Special Education Case Manager - IEP Specialist

DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Case Manager to join our virtual team. In this role, you will manage a caseload of students with diverse special education needs in an online environment, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive. You will collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) while maintaining compliance with special education laws and regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of students with diverse special education needs in a fully virtual setting.Coordinate and facilitate online IEP meetings and annual reviews, ensuring that all participants are engaged and informed.Ensure compliance with special education laws, regulations, and best practices within a digital environment.Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff to implement and monitor IEPs, making adjustments as needed to meet each student's unique needs.Track and evaluate student progress, adjusting learning plans to better support their academic and personal growth.Provide expert guidance on accommodations and modifications tailored to online learning environments.Maintain accurate and thorough digital records and documentation to support compliance and student progress tracking.QualificationsMaster's degree in Special Education or a related field.Valid teaching license with an endorsement in special education.At least 4 years of experience in special education, including case management, preferably in a virtual or hybrid environment.Proficiency in using virtual meeting platforms and digital documentation systems.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.In-depth knowledge of special education laws, procedures, and best practices.Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues in an online environment.Why Join Us?If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special needs and are eager to work in a dynamic virtual setting, this position offers a rewarding opportunity to use your skills and expertise to help students succeed.Employment Type: Full-Time
