Safety Coordinator***SCHEDULE******NIGHT SHIFT*** 6 pm - 6 am, 6 days a week (~72 hours)Position OverviewwWe are seeking a Safety Coordinator to support and promote a safe working environment across active construction projects. This individual will work closely with field personnel, supervisors, and subcontractors to help ensure compliance with safety policies, regulatory requirements, and company standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable interacting with employees at all levels to reinforce safe work practices and address potential hazards.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct regular jobsite safety inspections and observations to identify and address potential hazardsAssist with implementing and enforcing company safety policies and proceduresSupport incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action follow-up activitiesMaintain safety documentation, records, and compliance-related paperworkMonitor employee and subcontractor adherence to safety requirements and PPE standardsParticipate in site safety meetings and communicate safety expectations to project teamsAssist with new employee safety orientations and ongoing safety initiativesHelp identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety performance and cultureWork collaboratively with project management and field leadership to address safety concerns in a timely mannerSupport regulatory compliance efforts and help maintain a safe, organized work environmentRequired QualificationsOSHA 30 CertificationMinimum of 6 months of workplace safety experience in a construction, industrial, manufacturing, or related environmentBasic understanding of OSHA regulations and construction safety practicesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in both field and office environmentsAbility to recognize hazards and promote safe work practicesPreferred QualificationsExperience leading toolbox talks, safety meetings, or pre-task planning discussionsExperience providing or supporting fall protection trainingExperience providing or supporting confined space safety trainingExperience providing or supporting electrical safety trainingExperience conducting safety audits, inspections, or hazard assessmentsExperience working with subcontractors and multiple trades on active construction projects
