Job TitleSafety Specialist/ManagerResponsibilitiesThe Safety Specialist/Manager supports specific project needs in the Northern Virginia area by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhance a culture of safety.Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction projects ensuring OSHA complianceConduct daily safety meetingsComplete accident reports and conduct accident investigationsEnsure all personnel wear their personal protective equipment (PPE)Daily safety audits and inspectionsInspect power tools and heavy equipmentQualificationsMinimum 2-10 years of construction safety experience requiredOSHA 30 hour in Construction certification requiredFirst Aid/CPR certifiedStrong knowledge of construction safety standardsMust have experience in Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and ExcavationExcellent verbal and written skillsEmbody HazTek's Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Dependability, Leadership, AccountabilityElectrical Experience preferredOverviewHazTek Safety Management is a full-service, objective safety partner, founded in 1997.
