FP&A Leader
Job Description: Lead the development and execution of annual and quarterly financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for the NAM region.Analyze financial performance against plan and explain key variances.Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.Prepare and present regular financial reports and dashboards to executive leadership, summarizing key financial metrics and performance against targets.Own NAM cash flow statement planning, analysis, reporting, and communication of financial results, including all working capital elements.Lead weekly cash calls with sub-regional and country teams and issue dashboards highlighting PIT, PD, PD%, billing, and collections.Drive monthly cash and billing linearity.Ensure compliance with corporate reporting standards and regulatory requirements.Own key financial metrics including sales, margin, CFOA, and reserves.Work closely with Site Finance Leaders, Site FP&A teams, and OTR Team Leads to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.Manage the regional P&L and balance sheet, and provide monthly reporting to business leaders and regional finance leaders.Ensure timely and accurate quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations.Manage the monthly and quarterly financial close process for the region, including journal entries in accordance with US GAAP and revenue recognition policies.Partner with business stakeholders to analyze variances, assess risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.Identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue growth, and operational efficiency through data-driven analysis.Deliver accurate and timely financial analysis, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and improvement areas.Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and excellence.Leverage AI, technology, and digital tools to improve financial analysis and reporting capabilities.Maintain FP&A governance rhythms and calendars for both regions in an effective and structured manner.Monitor financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.Communicate financial information clearly and effectively across the organization.Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline with 8+ years of experience in FP&A, preferably within the Power Generation/Heavy Industrial Manufacturing industry; or a high school diploma/GED with at least 10+ years of related experienceAbility to travel 25% annuallyFinance leadership experience in grid business-related roles.Experience using SAP and reporting tools.Strong interpersonal skills with experience managing relationships in a complex matrix environment.FMP, CAS, or OFLP experience preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to influence and drive change across the organization.High integrity and ethical standards.Benefits: medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverageaccess to Health Coach from GE Vernova, a 24/7 nurse-based resourceaccess to the Employee Assistance Program, providing 24/7 confidential assessment, counseling and referral servicesRetirement benefits include the GE Vernova Retirement Savings Plan, a tax-advantaged 401(k) savings opportunity with company matching contributions and company retirement contributions, as well as access to Fidelity resources and financial planning consultantstuition assistanceadoption assistancepaid parental leavedisability benefitslife insurance12 paid holidayspermissive time off
