SQL DeveloperLocation: Allen, TXSchedule: Hybrid – onsite 3 daysContractWe are looking for an experienced SQL Developer to join a high-impact engineering team supporting a mission-critical on-premise platform environment. This role is ideal for someone with deep Microsoft SQL Server expertise who enjoys solving complex database performance and optimization challenges in a high-availability environment.Key Responsibilities:• Optimize and improve SQL Server database performance and efficiency• Develop and tune advanced T-SQL including stored procedures, triggers, and UDFs• Support high transaction volume environments and high availability solutions• Perform physical database design and storage optimization• Use SQL Profiler, Extended Events, and Query Store for troubleshooting and tuning• Refactor and modernize legacy database objects using SQL Server 2022 features• Manage database security including roles and permissions• Participate in Agile development and sprint deliverables• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and technical stakeholders throughout the SDLCRequired Qualifications:• 5+ years of SQL Development experience• Strong expertise with Microsoft SQL Server 2022• Advanced T-SQL development skills• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization• Knowledge of high availability and modern SQL Server features• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
