Take a minute to check us out! https://visitquadcities.com/aboutOther Conditions And RequirementsThis is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Industrial Base (DIB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.To qualify as a GS-09: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Analyzing workforce, budget, or organizational data to recommend solutions or management actions; AND 2) Utilizing automated systems to process personnel, manpower, or financial transactions; AND 3) Collaborating with management, human resources, or other offices to resolve workforce management matters and support organizational changes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).OREducation: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Management or Human Resource Management.ORCombination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.To qualify as a GS-11: One year of specialized experience which includes: advising on workforce management functions, including procedural and policy matters related to staffing, personnel actions, and/or organizational needs, providing guidance on performance management, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives; and communicating effectively with senior leadership and/or other personnel regarding staffing requirements, personnel actions, and/or organizational changes. OREducation: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
