Dynamometer Technician
1st shift- 100% onsite- Milford, MI
Hourly pay rate and any hours over 40 a week worked will be paid at time and a half. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required!
Mechanical Technician support of NVH / Chassis dyno testing
Requirements
· Minimum two-year associate degree in automotive technology or equivalent (ASE Master Mechanic with multiple years of dealership experience)
· 2+ yrs of electrical and/or mechanical hands-on experience
What Can give you the edge (preferred skills)
· Chassis Dynamometer testing / lab experience
· Familiarity with Test automation systems
· Experience with data acquisition systems
The position is open to backfill direct employees.
Required skills:
· Knowledge with instrumentation installation, troubleshooting and repair.
· A valid drivers license
· Excellent mechanical assembly and disassembly skills. · Experience with hand and air tools.
· Data acquisition, review and troubleshooting experience.
· Effective time management skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both independent and team environments.
· Ability to learn from and share knowledge with co-workers ·
· Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple assignments.
· Basic computer skills (Microsoft word, excel, power point, Outlook).
· Ability to handle basic project assignments with minimum supervision.
· Ability to repeatedly perform activities involving bending, twisting, pulling and lifting of vehicle components up to 50 pounds, unassisted. Moving test equipment and portable tools (70-200 #) around the shop as required.
· Perform overhead and under dash assembly/disassembly operations on every build. Stand for long periods of time while performing build tasks.
· Ability to operate vehicle movers, walkies or fork trucks.
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Experience:
