Location: Theodore, AL, United States, 36582Company: Chart IndustriesEnsuring Chart’s Success…What Will You Do?Mix paint to designated specificationsPrep units prior to painting using a blasting booth, spray paint application and other hand preparation methodsDemonstrated precision in applying masking techniques including taping clean, straight lines and effectively covering surfaces to protect areas from overspray and ensure high-quality finishesPerform necessary touchups when neededPerform set up and maintenance of booth and paint sprayerClean paint spraying equipment dailyAdhere to painting specifications and printed work instruction manualsOther duties and responsibilities as assigned by managerYour Physical Work Environment Will Require…Exposure to metal cutting, welding odors, welding flash and incidental acceptable limits of x-ray radiation.Possible exposure to chemical odors and temperature extremes.Frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, and occasional crawling.Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting and handling of materials.Occasional climbing and working at elevated positionsMust be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this role includes close vision.Ability to pass respirator fit testWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this position, the employee regularly works in proximity to moving mechanical equipment and may be exposed to potential electrical hazards in certain situations. Employees are expected to maintain a high level of situational awareness at all times.
