Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site position for a Field Engineer located in Paterson, NJ. The Field Engineer will oversee the execution of site work and heavy highway construction projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, timelines, safety standards, and budgets. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, providing field and technical support, and facilitating effective communication between teams. The Field Engineer will also contribute to the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, acting as a liaison between project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth operations and on-time completion of projects. QualificationsStrong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to identify and resolve on-site issues effectivelyProficiency in Field Service operations and understanding of construction site-specific practicesExcellent Communication skills for clear collaboration with team members, contractors, and clientsProject Management capabilities, including planning, coordination, and overseeing project timelinesAbility to read and understand construction plans and technical documentationProven safety awareness and understanding of construction safety standardsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferredFamiliarity with construction management software or similar tools is a plusPrevious field experience in heavy highway or civil construction projects is highly desirable
