Master Esthetician/ Phlebotomist

Full Potential HRT clinic is growing and we are adding a full-time Master Esthetician/ Phlebotomist position! We strive to provide excellent customer service, result-focused safe innovative treatments, and form long-term relationships with our patients. We partner with our patients to help them meet and exceed their Aesthetic and Skin goals, plus act as MA/ Phlebotomist when not doing Aesthetic treatments for patients, we estimate a 50/50 ratio.
The primary role of the Master Esthetician/Phlebotomist is to provide Aesthetic treatments which are patient-centric and safe with remarkable results. They guide the patient throughout consultation and treatments assessing patient desires; setting expectations; educating patients on aging, treatments, products, pre and post- care requirements and recommendations; follow-up with patients; and establishing a patient care plan; will obtain and prepare specimens for analysis and perform various screening tests. Aesthetic procedures will include micro-needling, hair reduction laser treatments, skin tightening treatments, chemical peels and supporting the doctors with PRP preparation, neuromodulators and dermal fillers.

Technical Knowledge and Skills:
Demonstrated ability to perform math calculations.
Must satisfactorily complete the on-the-job training provided by the Phlebotomy/Lead MA during the introductory period.
Knowledge of microsoft and google platforms
Key Job Responsibilities:
This is a hybrid position as a Master Esthetician/ Phlebotomist
Master Esthetician:
Performs a range of treatments that are within the scope of practice for a licensed Master Esthetician in the state of Oregon, with the scope of using laser.
Performs quality, safe and patient-centric clinical treatments.
Ability to work with patients of varying skin types and ages.
Performs follow-up calls to patients. Returns patient called as needed
Ability to manage and respond to all patient emergencies and/or urgent needs
Works to build and maintain patient relationships.
Accept responsibility for patient outcomes. Ensures overall service satisfaction with treatments.
Continues to work on perfecting and learning new skills.
Maintains a highly professional image. Must maintain a professional, impeccable appearance. Scrubs required unless otherwise approved. Must have a Positive, Caring, Courteous, Warm, Pleasant, Welcoming, Friendly, and Enthusiastic attitude.
Knowledgeable on all Services and Treatments. Be able to confidently relay and discuss information on all treatments and services, treatment timelines, pre and post care requirements and recommendations, prices.

Must be willing to learn new treatments and expand service offerings
Medical Assistant:
Greets patients in a courteous manner, responds to patients with empathy and positive interpersonal skills
Serves patients by identifying the best method for retrieving blood samples and preparing samples for laboratory testing
Verifies patient identification and explains sampling procedures to patients.
Obtains blood samples by performing venipunctures including therapeutic phlebotomies.
Preparing and performing IV treatments
Maintains sample integrity by using aseptic technique, following proper procedures, and observing isolation procedures.
Tracks collected samples by initialing, dating, and noting times of collection and maintaining daily tallies of collections performed.
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations including OSHA standards.
Resolves unusual test orders by contacting the physician, referring unresolved orders back to the originator for further clarification, and notifying supervisor of unresolved orders.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
Pre-charting appointments and conducting medication counts.
Maintains an organized and clean workspace.
Qualifications:
Must have a current Master Esthetician license in the State of Oregon.
Must be able to show dedication to continued learning in Aesthetics by proof of recent continued learning activities.
Knowledgeable and Proficient in skincare, facial services, and microneedling with a minimum of 1 year experience in providing Master Esthetician services including laser.
Must be flexible and able to adapt well with changes and priorities.
Must have a growth mindset and love to learn.
Phlebotomy certification or willing to complete certificate at your own expense prior to starting position.
Minimum of 1 year experience in Customer Service Experience as well as a dedication to Service Excellence
Excellent organizational and time-management skills and attention to detail
Ability to appropriately manage and prioritize tasks
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous Medspa, Dermatology or Plastic Surgery experience is a plus
Experience with PHR systems preferred
All candidates will be required to demonstrate venipuncture blood draw, perform microneedling, and laser treatment during the working interview process.
