Journeyman Electrician

Skookum Electric is hiring a commercial and residential electrician. Duties: - Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in accordance with local and national electrical codes - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings - Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures - Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure efficient completion of projects - Conduct inspections and tests to identify electrical issues and ensure compliance with safety standards - Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Skills: - Proficient in a wide range of electrical tasks including renovation projects, commercial electrical work, frame carpentry, low voltage systems, and high voltage systems - Strong knowledge of electrical theory and the National Electrical Code (NEC) - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings - Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for electrical work - Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues - Attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and repairs - Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
