Agile Delivery & Portfolio Enablement LeadAnywhere, USA (Fully Remote)Contract to HirePay rate: $80.00 - $90.00 p/hr Our client is seeking an Agile Delivery & Portfolio Enablement Lead to drive enterprise delivery performance and advance the maturity of the Project Management Office (PMO). This role is responsible for leading Agile transformation, enforcing consistent delivery practices, and elevating portfolio execution across the organization. The position partners closely with IT, Finance, Architecture, and executive leadership to ensure initiatives are delivered effectively, aligned to business priorities, and supported by scalable processes and reporting.Job Description:• Lead the adoption and enforcement of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Scrumban, Scaled Agile, and Lean across the organization, ensuring consistent and effective delivery practices• Drive Agile transformation efforts, guiding teams and leadership through organizational and cultural change required to improve delivery performance• Coach Agile teams, scrum masters, and product owners while holding teams accountable to standards, outcomes, and continuous improvement• Oversee PMO operations including project intake, incubation, governance, and portfolio prioritization, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives• Own portfolio delivery performance, establishing clear metrics, identifying risks, and driving corrective actions to improve execution across programs• Act as product owner for PMO tools and data, ensuring accurate, actionable insights across portfolio governance, delivery performance, financial tracking, and compliance• Lead the rollout, adoption, and continuous improvement of SDLC processes, ensuring consistency and accountability from intake through delivery and close• Drive the design and standardization of reporting, dashboards, and metrics, including time tracking, cost management, and financial reporting across the organization• Establish and enforce stage gate controls and delivery standards, ensuring alignment with architecture, security, procurement, regulatory, and funding requirements• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline delivery, remove bottlenecks, and increase organizational efficiency• Develop and deliver training programs to elevate delivery capabilities across IT, including Agile practices, PMO standards, and work decomposition• Support program and project incubation, guiding teams in structuring work, assembling delivery plans, and ramping in new or complex domains• Partner with senior leadership to align priorities, communicate performance, and drive accountability across the portfolio• Facilitate cross-functional alignment, proactively resolving risks, dependencies, and conflicts that impact deliveryQualifications:• 5+ years of experience as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or Agile leader• 3+ years of experience in PMO leadership, portfolio management, or enterprise delivery oversight• Proven experience driving Agile transformation and improving delivery performance at scale• Hands-on experience implementing SDLC processes and establishing delivery governance frameworks• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, PMO operations, and enterprise delivery models• Experience with Power BI, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Office Suite• Strong leadership, facilitation, and organizational change management skills with the ability to influence at all levels• Certifications such as CSM, ICP-Client, PMP, or equivalent are preferred• Experience in insurance or financial services environments is highly desirableWelcome to ConsultNet, a premier national provider of technology talent and solutions.
