In this role, you'll be dispatched from your home to commercial sites across Austinand the surrounding region, including occasional travel to nearby cities such as San Antonio. You'lltroubleshoot and service a variety of commercial HVAC systems while enjoying the freedom ofworking independently with full support from our team.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Responding to scheduled and emergency service calls for commercial and industrial HVACsystemsPerforming preventative maintenance, inspections, site surveys, and diagnosticsTroubleshooting and repairing systems such as:Split systemsRooftop packaged unitsChillersAncillary systems (pumps, cooling towers, etc.)Performing start-up, commissioning, and system modificationsAccurately documenting all work performedProviding excellent customer service and communicationMaintaining company safety standards while on-siteMUST HAVESHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalentMinimum 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experienceEPA CertificationFamiliarity with smartphones, tablets, and Microsoft OfficeValid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to work independently and be on-call as neededWillingness to travel within the region, including occasional jobs outside of AustinChiller experience is a plusWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOUCompetitive hourly pay: $28-$35/hour, based on experienceCompany-provided vehicle for work-related travelDispatched from home (primarily) - no daily office reportingOvertime opportunitiesTools, uniforms, and PPE providedComprehensive benefits package, including:Medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off (PTO)401(k) with company matchPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThis is a hands-on field position that requires:Lifting up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 40 lbs frequently (equipment up to 50 lbs)Climbing ladders (350 lb weight limit) and accessing rooftops up to 50+ feetWorking in confined spaces (as small as 30" vertical x 45" horizontal)Standing on concrete surfaces for extended periods (up to 4 hours)Regular twisting, bending, kneeling, and overhead reachingUsing personal protective equipment (helmets, goggles, harnesses, safety boots)Working in variable outdoor and mechanical environments, including noise, weather, and electricalsystems
