A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - Med Surg/n/nJob Details:/n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM/n• Schedule includes 3 shifts per week with weekdays and some weekends/n• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends/n• Float to ER, ICU, and LDRP as needed/n• Provide care for medical surgical, orthopedic, and general surgery patients/n• Care for post-operative joint replacement and medical patients/n• Treat patients of all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics/n• Daily census of 12 patients with 20 rooms and 23 beds available/n• Required certifications: BCLS (required), ACLS preferred/n• Kansas state license or compact license required/n• Minimum 2 years of experience required/n• First time travelers and local candidates accepted/n• Previous charge experience preferred/n• Skills required: IV start, telemetry, charge experience preferred/n• Experience with total hips and knees procedures is a plus/n• Rural health experience preferred/n• TruBridge EMR experience preferred, willing to train/n• Must complete average 1 hour of non-billable modules pre-start/n• One reference required for submission/n/nFacility:/nThis regional medical center provides comprehensive medical and surgical services in a community hospital setting.
