Job Description Hiring for a Medical Assistant for a healthcare clinic in Freehold, NJ MUST be okay wtih floating to the Monroe Township office for call out/coverage needs as neededPay: $22-25/hr (based on experience)Schedule: 40-hours per week, must be flexible to work 8-hour shifts during the hours of operation, must work 1 late shift per week.Hours of Operation Monday 7AM-7PM Tuesday 7AM-7PM Wednesday 7AM-7PM Thursday 7AM-5PM Friday 7AM-5PMRequirements: 2+ years of Medical Assistant experienceOrthopedic experience preferred Knowledge in any EMR (practice uses eClinicalWorks, NaviNet, Helio – training provided)High school diploma or equivalentResponsibilities:Accompany provider in room during patient visitScribe documentation in eClinicalWorks to include history of present illness, review of systems, physical, exam findings, diagnostic assessment, and plan of careDocument results of laboratory and radiographic studies as discussed by providerRefill any patient prescriptions as directed by the providerCoordinate multiple projects and patients and solve problems under pressureCommunicate and interact professionally with othersTreat all information with complete confidentiality and security in compliance with HIPPA regulationsProvide general care to patientsAdminister prescribed medications and treatments if requiredMaintain exam rooms with necessary supplies and materials, ensure cleanlinessPrepare equipment and assist the physician during treatment, examination, and testing of patientsObserve, record, and report patient's condition and reaction to medication / treatments to physiciansEducate patient / family about diagnostic procedures, medications, nutrition, and maintenanceGreet patients and prepare them for physical examinationScreen patients for appropriate informationInstruct patients in collection of samples and testsAssess patient needs and suggests solutions to patient care problemsMaintain accurate patient recordsEnter billing information as determined by the type of office visitResponsible for reporting improperly operating medical equipment and instruments to supervisorResponsible for following OSHA regulationsRegularly interacts with physicians and other departments in order to identify and resolve problemsMaintain patient, employee, and clinic confidentiality#zip
