Recreation Assistant Programs

Description: We are currently seeking a Recreation Assistant-Programs, on an "as needed" basis. The Assistant will work 0 – 29 hours per week, with shifts primarily being during evening and weekend hours. This is a substitute position with no work hour guarantee. Candidates with flexible schedules are desired as the workflow varies to provide proper coverage and meet program needs. The primary responsibility of the Recreation Assistant - Programs is to score-keep (youth/adults), referee (youth aged 3-8), and assist with leading a variety of sport activities for youth (aged 3-13). This position must work well independently and with teams, while providing excellent customer service to residents and visitors. Once trained, employees must be able to perform with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Recreation experience is preferred. Requirements: 1) Must have legal authorization to work in the United States of America. 2) Possess a valid driver’s license with the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle, provide proof of a safe driving record, and maintain a safe driving record. 3) Submit and pass a pre-employment background check.
