Long-term Substitute Speech Language Pathologist Position, early March-early December 2026

Who We Are:The Timothy School is the oldest non-profit approved private school in Pennsylvania devoted exclusively to teaching students with autism. For over 50 years, we have worked to develop an understanding of autism that recognizes the strengths and uniqueness of our children and the specialized methods needed to expand their educational opportunities.Position Summary:The Speech Language Pathologist will support students in the areas of daily living, educational and vocational skills. The SLP will work with the students both individually and in group sessions to address communication needs within the classroom and throughout their educational program.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degreePDE certificationExperience working within an autistic support program preferredCore Job Duties & Responsibilities (in priority order):Provide speech therapy to caseload of approximately 20 students as designated by their IEPsDeliver scheduled speech therapy sessions for all students in compliance with IEP requirements. Maintain ongoing therapy notes for each student's sessionImplement IEP goals for students and collect data on the designated IEP goalsCommunicate regularly/as needed with collaborative teams, parents and school districts as applicableCommunicate with administration as needed regarding issues/concerns impacting the speech therapy departmentMaintain student confidentiality in compliance with The Family Rights and Privacy ActComplete additional duties as designed and attend all required staff & parent meetingsThe Timothy School reviews each application that is received.
