Hanes Geo Components Branch 8660JOB DESCRIPTIONPOSITION : Forklift OperatorREPORTS TO : Production SupervisorQUALIFICATIONS:Must be familiar and comply with company policies to all employees reporting to him/herMust be detail orientedAble to operate warehouse equipmentMust have cooperative attitude necessary to work effectively with othersGood communication skills (verbal & written)Must be able to follow verbal & written instructionsAdaptable, flexible, and maintain effectiveness during change/transitionPRIMARY DUTIES :The primary duties of the employee are (but are not limited to) the following:All employees have the responsibility to bring forth suggestions and participate in continuous improvement process and verify the implementation of solutions.Conform to all quality/safety/environmental requirements and procedures.Read and follow instructions on converting orders.Perform routine operations on machine (load, set-up, doff) - make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards.Production reporting to be neat and accurate.Ability to lift 75 – 100 pounds.Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.Perform other duties as assigned by Department Supervisor.Shift: 1 nd Shift: M- F, 7pm-3pm____________________________________________________Human ResourcesHanes Companies is a people-first organization dedicated to providing a complete benefits package for our employees and their families.
