Job Description Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Accountant with strong experience in high-volume collections within a contract manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for managing customer accounts, driving timely collections, and ensuring accurate AR reporting in a fast-paced production-based business.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle Accounts Receivable process with a strong emphasis on collections Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on overdue accounts Resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and customer disputes Partner with Sales, Operations, and Production teams to ensure accurate invoicing tied to job orders and contracts Post and reconcile customer payments in ERP system Prepare AR reports, aging summaries, and cash forecasting updates Support month-end close including AR reconciliations and journal entries Maintain customer credit files and recommend credit limit adjustments Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policiesQualifications3+ years of AR and collections experience (manufacturing or contract manufacturing strongly preferred) Strong understanding of job costing, WIP billing, and contract-based invoicing Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Sage, Epicor, or similar) High attention to detail with strong reconciliation skills Comfortable communicating with customers regarding past due balances Ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment Strong Excel skillsPreferred SkillsExperience in high-volume or multi-site manufacturing environments Exposure to project-based billing or custom manufacturing contracts Month-end close support experienceEqual Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected VeteransThe Know Your Rights poster is available here: https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2023-06/22-088_EEOC_KnowYourRights6.12.pdfThe pay transparency policy is available here: https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/ofccp/pdf/pay-transp_%20English_formattedESQA508c.pdfFor temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, the Company is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.We are committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
