Job DetailsDescriptionSummary/ObjectiveProcess Yarn received from Twisting and Vortex frames.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Ability to navigate through various computer systems such as JOMAR.Must learn and differentiate yarn counts and cone colors.Must place racks of yarn in the Xorella and then start the Xorella.Must remove racks of yarn from the Xorella and properly pack yarn on designated pallets.Must properly wrap pallets of yarn, make tickets for each pallet and place in warehouse for pickupMust maintain good housekeeping standards.CompetenciesAttention to DetailEffective CommunicationPrioritization SkillsTeamworkSelf-MotivatedTechnical SkillsSupervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a manufacturing environment. The candidate is frequently exposed to noise, dust and various chemicals, and moving mechanical parts requiring the use of appropriate personal protective equipment including safety glasses, hearing protection and steel toe shoes.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, sit, walk, stand, and hear. The employee will be required to reach with hands and arms, push, pull and/or lift, climb or balance, kneel and frequently lift to 50 lbs. Repetitive hand actions, including grasping and fine manipulations, is an essential part of the job’s physical demands.Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
