TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Columbus, Indiana, 47201!About The PositionJob Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** ICU **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 12-hour night shifts; will rotate every other weekend and holidays. No call required. **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience **License:** Active RN license (compact license accepted) **Certifications:** - BLS - ACLS - Certified Critical Care RN preferred **Must-Have:** - Competency in vent management - Ability to titrate IV medicated drips - Experience with continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) - Ability to care for ICU patients **Job Description:** - Perform general ICU nursing duties, including ventilator management and critical drips competency. - Provide care for high-acuity ICU patients. - Utilize Cerner EMR, Apache acuity software, and Accudose with Pyxis pharmacy dispensing system. - Preferred experience in recovering fresh hearts, though not required. - Nurse to patient ratio depends on patient acuity. - Dress Code: Navy and White scrubs. - Participate in unit/department-specific training and orientation, including predictive index online surveys and Healthstream electronic learning management systems for life safety training. - Familiarity with EPIC, CRRT, and IABP experience is advantageous. - Complete a predictive index online survey for measuring behavioral drives and motivating needs. **Additional Information:** Every other weekend required. The unit has 18 beds with an average daily census of 10-12 patients.
