BLS Certification Description: The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient-family centered care addressing potential and actual health and illness problems for patients and families. This role operates in an 8 bed overflow unit. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients with telemetry needs. Responsibilities include the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. The nurse will work rotating weekends and does not have on-call requirements. The average patient ratio is 4:1 for both day and night shifts. Interdisciplinary support includes various services such as IV teams, Physical Therapy, and Social Services. Candidates must have experience with specific charting systems. Epic experience is preferred. A 7-year work history verification is required for all candidates.
