The sky is your limit.Rate of Pay: $35.00 per hour USDJob DescriptionTo assist or perform repairs and maintenance of equipment and the physical structure of hotel; in a safe, efficient and professional manner, as assigned by the Director of Engineering or Assistant of Director of Engineering.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITES: Include but are not limited to the following:Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging serviceRepairs, maintains and inspects plumbing, physical structure, electrical wiring and fixtures, machinery, heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, spa, kitchen and laundry equipment, in accordance with blue prints, manuals, and building codes, using hand and power tools, carpenter, electrician, and plumbing toolsMeasures, cuts and installs pipes and tubing for gas and water.Repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators and other plumbing equipment and opens clogged drainsInstalls electrical equipment and repairs or replaces wiring and fixturesOccasionally makes and repairs shelves, partitions and other wooden structuresOccasionally paints walls, floors, woodwork and fixtures of establishmentOccasionally replace and repairs brick, concrete and sheetrock walls and structuresStarts devices to test their performanceReplaces drives belts and filters on machines and equipmentRepairs and replaces locksReplaces light bulbs throughout the buildingPerforms repairs to swimming pool/spa equipmentHelps and assists other departmentsUses Royal Services software and other preventive maintenance software to track time and workUses assigned handheld devices such as an iTouch and radio to communicate work.Is familiar with all fire and emergency proceduresConducts and/or attends meetings to maintain favorable working relationships among company employees and promote maximum morale, productivity, and efficiencyOther duties as assignedSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITESPrepares reports, as requested, to develop a more informative data base for improved management decision making and critical evaluation of work activitiesMaintains shop and other work areas in a clean and organized condition as assignedQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
