Purpose As part of the HR Solutions Team, the HR Coordinator is the first line of contact in the Human Resources Department and provides support in a variety of areas including employee relations, reporting, payroll, benefits, HRIS, recruiting, and organizational communication. Deliverables The HR Coordinator is the first line of contact for any HR inquiries from employees or leaders in the organization; including: payroll, benefits, employee relations, HRIS, and indirectly support recruiting functions as needed. They possess a fundamental working knowledge in these areas and handle basic to moderately complex issues. They refer escalated issues to the appropriate member of the Human Resources team. HR task approvals. Reviews and approves HR tasks in the HRIS system including occasional background checks, E verify, personal information changes, offer letters, and employee position changes. Provides additional administrative support to the department as needed. Provides administrative support including completing Verification of Employment forms, HR inbox support, maintaining employee records, and other duties as assigned. Provides expertise to other members of the HR Solutions Team in a specified area. Each member of the HR Solutions Team will gain expertise in one or more specified areas of Human Resources, such as payroll, benefits, HRIS, employee relations, and indirectly support recruiting functions as needed. Provides guidance to other members of the HR Solutions Team and works closely with the appropriate specialist in the department on more complex items. May assist and provide support to specialists with projects in specified areas of expertise.
